SOURCE OF INTRINSIC MERIT

In considering merit, we often consider a purpose --- such as a purpose we can progress towards. If there is progress in any ultimate sense, it may consist only insofar as God is pleased enough to deem it so.

Ultimately, progress is for God, not mortals. We cannot measure whether, when, or how ultimate progress may occur. Rather, we can only intuit such progress --- empathetically, incompletely, uncertainly, holographically --- not holistically.

Ultimately, merit, like progress, is also for God, not mortals. Each of us is merely an incomplete and uncertain expression of Holistic God. We represent free will only as we find expression among the plural perspectives of God, among which all of us are synchronized together as the array of Spiritual Elohim.

Ultimately, the only intrinsic Identity is God, of which each of us is but an incomplete, uncertain, holographic perspective. None of us has intrinsic identity independent of God. Intrinsically, the only Being trying and deserving to grow is God.

Suppose a particular body happens to progress in worthy context and capacity. Such progress would not occur in respect of intrinsic merit in any Being associated with such body, independent of God. The intrinsic merit expressed through the body, which deserves to grow in worth, is not in the body in itself, but in God, Who is expressing a perspective being associated with the body.

As we appreciate what we are, we come to appreciate not only the power that ripples through us, but also how we should, as empathetically transmitting perspectives of such power, seek to express it. As we appreciate our interconnection, we better appreciate what we should ask.

Because the power availed to our asking is astonishing, it is important we should appreciate our interrelationship with it. Soul, to be receptive and intuitive of its worth, needs to aspire to avoid petty deformities and regressions.

As we please and succeed, the perspective that we express is promoted. As we "sin" and fail, the perspective that we express is demoted. Of that, heaven and hell are merely figurative. After all, each of us is expressive of a perspective or spiritual logarithm among the Elohim of God.
