Macbeth --- Witches Brew Among Whitehead, Godel, and Heisenberg:

In a way of thinking, concerns of Whitehead, Godel, and Heisenberg may be summarized as follows:

It is not the reality of a whole that its parts may sense, but perceptions or perspectives of reality. This is because each part, in making or receiving any perception, will not include in each such perception all that enables each particular perception. Opportunity to accurately measure or perceive the part of any whole that is to be used or considered apart — as a locus or focus from or by which to discuss, measure or perceive any aspect about the whole — is necessarily compromised while the part is thus employed.

Any aspect being employed to discuss, measure or perceive cannot simultaneously discuss, measure or perceive itself. The very act of perceiving renders that which remains subject to being perceived both incomplete (Godel) and uncertain (Heisenberg).

This begs a question: If no one perspective can describe a complete, consistent, coherent, and convertible accounting of reality, then may the sum of all such perspectives provide such an accounting? This relates to what is often meant about the whole being something other or more than merely the sum of its parts (Whitehead).

Well, what math or logic available to mortals would allow holistic certainty to be perfected merely by summing ambiguities?

Perhaps, most mortals believe there is a precise, holistic, essential reality that by and large undergirds our ambiguous, particular perceptions about it. If so, is such reality empirical? If so, to whom (Sectarian) or in relation to what (Secular) is it empirically measurable and relational?

May ultimate, holistic reality somehow be "real in itself"? If so, what does that mean? I cannot think how that could mean that such reality is "really" measurable, or even physical.

May ultimate, holistic reality itself be a relational byproduct of "things," not in any way comprehensible or relational to mortal minds, which are otherwise relational, empirical, physical, or measurable?

May ultimate reality be byproduct of relations among some ineffable mix of Consciousness and Mathematics? Does such mix lead to imaged place-markers for chronologies among units of space? May our relational physics be byproduct of such imaged place-markers?
